Service Delivery Model

A service delivery model describes how a related service is provided in the school setting.

For school-based physical therapy, this may include direct service, consultation, monitoring, collaboration with staff, embedded support during school routines, or some combination of approaches.

The key question is not just what model is named. The key question is whether the team can explain how that model supports the student’s access, participation, safety, independence, or function in school.
