Administrative Convenience Is Not the Standard

Administrative constraints are real. Schedules are real. Staffing is real. Budgets are real. Buildings are real.

But convenience is not the standard for deciding what a child needs.

A school team can talk honestly about constraints without shrinking the student’s needs to fit what is easiest to provide. Better practice keeps the distinction clear: the student’s needs are documented first, then the team figures out how to serve those needs within the real world.
